It's a Dog's Life

Last post we introduced our new family member Zooey, and while it has been a lot of fun getting to know her and seeing her personality develop it has also had its challenges. I personally have been talking to friends and family a lot lately about all the changes Zooey's brought into our life and thought it might be fun to share that with the blogosphere via photos.

Zooey has taught us a few things about what is and what is not edible in our home. Apparently everything is edible from coffee table legs, pieces of trim and flip flops. I had no idea we had so many great snacking opportunities right under our noses!

There have also been changes to our sleeping arrangements.

Zooey has also decided to alter the feng-shui in our living room by adding a few of her own personal touches.

Some "personal touches" are not as welcome as others.

Our literature choices have also changed, sorry Nicholas Sparks.

Bath time is a little bit different now too, complete with a sympathetic audience.

And she also likes to help us out with our gardening.

Even though things are definitely different around here and right now it is a little bit chaotic, we are enjoying the ride (albeit bumpy). I have a feeling that Zooey has a lot to teach us!
